No Night and Day Cycles?
First of all I love the game. I enjoyed the beta this past weekend. But I noticed the sun never went down and the moon never came up. Are there no night and day cycles? That feature seems pretty standard these days--even Diablo II had that.

Wow, i am acually very pleased that there is no night. Just limits your viewing range. Is there any real benefit to it?

I agree that your view is limited during the night, but it's still cool to watch the sky change from blue to orange to black and have village lights start to pop up on the horizon.

The missions are intended to take place at certain times of the day- for example, in the Borlis Pass mission, you have to get the refugees to shelter in Grooble's Gulch by nighttime. It wouldn't make much sense to go through 2 day-night cycles while you're working on that mission, or even to have it turn night halfway through. Riverside Province is a mission that you do at nighttime- they do have day and night, and do have the capability to switch between the two(as anyone who was in LA at the end of the BWE could attest to). I'm pretty sure a day-night cycle won't be in the game for missions and such like that, but I could see a possibility of having it in towns and outposts, and possibly even EA's.
